A Letter to Java House Guests
While the world is confronting a new issue that is impacting many families, friends, and loved ones, The Iowa City Coffee Company team wants to come together and support our local community as much as possible.
We believe it is our duty as a local business to prioritize the health and wellness of our guests, staff members and wider community by taking precautionary steps in response to this evolving public health impact. Going forward, guests will see many changes at all of our Java House and Heirloom Salad Co. Locations.
Be aware that we are providing Guest Sanitization Stations at all locations, which are equipped with table sanitizer and paper towels to use at the guest’s convenience. Hand sanitizer is also available behind the bar of every location, and at this time we will not be accepting personal commuter mugs. We will be temporarily discontinuing the use of mugs and eating utensils and switching to paper cups and disposable dining ware. Lastly, all staff are being trained on CDC guidelines.
We urge our guests to take advantage of our Java House & Heirloom Salad Co. Pre Order app on Google Play or the App Store, to order any menu item for immediate pick-up, and delivery apps, such as Chomp, are a wonderful option. Please be sure to check Google for our updated hours, as they may vary in the upcoming weeks.
